The Rooms

Your room has been created to combine traditional Balinese esthetic with modern style and comfort. The materials are local stones, folk-weave fabrics, cane bamboo and weathered wood. The atmosphere is spacious and generous, cool and inviting, informal and relaxing. The lightweight cotton robes and comfortable sandals are for you to wear wherever and whenever you are in the resort. The canopied bed allow cool breeze to waft around you, while deterring the occasional mosquito. The bathroom, sunken bath with hot and cold water and their views into private courtyard gardens, enhance the feeling of freedom and naturalness.

The two levels restaurant is in the main building at the entrance to the resort. It has 40 seats and gives you commanding view over the countryside, and a unequalled vantage point to watch the brilliant color of the setting sun. The menu offers you a combination of wonderful Balinese specialties, and more familiar western dishes.

THE BOUTIQUE & SHOP
A wide variety of hand crafts, paintings, garments, silversmith, and wood carvings made by the talented artist from Ubud Village is available at the boutique . Should you be interested in any particular piece found in your villa or in the hotel, they are also available. Opening hours 10:00 am to 18:00 pm.

Swimming pool
A two levels swimming pool adjacent to the panoramic rice terrace gives you an opportunity to feel the cool breeze while lay down on pool chair under the palm trees. Having light meal, reading books or bathing that you can do in this area. The water is salty, keep cool either in the day.

Waka di Ume offers a different venue and perfect set up to meet your needs. A uniquely designed meeting room overlooks the beautiful rice terrace and the tiny but deep Campuhan River. The meeting room accommodates up to 50 persons.

Wedding Chapel
The monumental – likely uniquely designed wedding chapel in Waka di Ume resort offers a romantic wedding in this very different property in Ubud. It is newly built to meet an exclusive request of accommodating small weddings (maximum 40 persons). The rice terrace view surrounding the venue lends Bali uniqueness and beauty of the event.

Enjoy the colorful culture of a Balinese blessing with young attendants clad in golden swirls of cloth casting white frangipani petals to greet your wedding guests. The priest will bestow this blessings accompanied by gamelan orchestra players and dancers, all under the Penjor flags and a Bali sunset.

THE BALI YOGA ROOM

There is a spacious upper level yoga room overlooking to lush green palm trees and panoramic rice terraced. Throughout the ancient art of classical yoga, you will learn technique to still your mind, strengthen your body and expand your consciousness using posture, breath work, meditation and relaxation. The class will be conducted by Mr. Suweca the Balinese experienced yoga instructor from the religious village of Mas. He has teach yoga to many foreigners also practice yoga for years and feels the great benefits of yoga for body and soul. The class is suitable for beginner to advanced practitioners.
